Wooden furniture by Arte Brotto
In the Arte Brotto furniture collection, you’ll find solid wooden tables that highlight the wood grain, as well as elegant wooden furniture made from American walnut or oak.
The skill of Italian masters
Arte Brotto, an Italian brand, was founded in the 1960s by a promising apprentice, Sante Giorgio Brotto, who aimed to blend traditional woodworking techniques with the design of modern wooden furniture. He succeeded. Today, the brand offers several collections and collaborates with significant designers. Among them is Marco Piva, whose collection you can also find here.
The table from a single trunk
An example of true craftsmanship is the ‘Vero’ table crafted from two massive wooden planks of American walnut or oak. These planks, ranging from two to three and a half meters in length, always originate from the core of a single tree trunk. This results in a perfectly symmetrical wood grain pattern on both halves of the table.
The guaranteed origin of wood
Over the years, the family-owned company has successfully gained control over the entire production chain. Today, they own sawmills for wood processing as well as the forests where the materials originate. These forests are managed according to sustainability principles (FSC / PEFC certification).
